Downloading results

Every results table carries a Download control beside Save. It exports the full result set of the question on screen — not just the visible page — as a file you can carry into your own tools. The columns are the ones your lens shows, in the order it shows them, with the same headings; curate the lens first and the file follows.

Formats and how a download builds

Pick a format from the Download menu:

  • Excel (.xlsx) — for reading and sharing; opens directly in a spreadsheet.
  • CSV — for anything that reads plain tables; opens in a spreadsheet too.
  • Parquet — for data tooling; compact, typed, and fast to load in analysis environments.

Small sets return quickly. A large set builds in the background: a banner at the head of the table tracks it, and you can keep working — even leave the page. When the file is ready the banner offers Download, and a notification lands in your inbox so the file is reachable from anywhere. If you dismissed the banner, a brief message announces the result instead; click Download again and the built file returns at once.

How long a file is kept

A built file is kept for a short while, then cleared — sooner once you have downloaded it. There is nothing to tidy up: run the question again and a fresh file builds against the current data. Because files are keyed to the exact question, columns, and format, repeating the same download within the window is instant.
